I'll overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
